A large roll coating machine had heated tanks located on the machine to allow the roller to be dipped into a wax material. The problem was the roll coater was using material faster than the onboard tanks couple melt the material.
A 250 gallon stainless steel Sta-Warm electrically heated tank with agitator was used to melt a large quantity of the wax material into liquid form then a Sta-Warm heated pump and Sta-Warm heated hose were used to supply the onboard tanks with premelted material at the correct temperature for application. A simple level switch was easily integrated in to the VFD dive on pump to tell the pump to turn on and off and necessary and keep the onboard tanks full.
This allowed for continuous operation and minimize down time waiting on melted material.
